Gyrokite Wind Powered Helicopter

A great flying toy, the Gyro-Kite is a wind powered helicopter that you can fly like a kite - the only one of its kind in the world..  A huge amount of fun, perfect for the beach, park or sports ground, and makes a great present for someone that has everything.   Assembly takes minutes.

The Gyro-Kite is exciting, challenging and educational using several principles of flight. The Gyro-Kite does not require batteries, motor, rubber bands or fuel, using the wind purely as its energy source to make the blades auto-rotate at approx. 500 RPM.

The kite will fly to a height of over 100 feet (33m) and with practice, you will be able to make it do touch and go’s and take off and land vertically just like the real thing. The Gyro-Kite requires 10 knots (18kmh) to 25 knots (45kmh) of preferably steady wind. Sea breezes are perfect! Rotor blade diameter is 50cm and kite on skids stands 30ch high.
